A Gurugram lady has alleged that she was locked up in a room by her husband and in-laws for over three years. The lady stated that she was not even allowed to fulfill her mother and father throughout this time.
The lady, in her early 30s, was rescued by the police on Thursday after her mother and father filed a lacking particular person’s grievance.
In their grievance, the lady’s mother and father stated that she had acquired married in 2013 and had been residing in Gurugram since then. However, they'd not been allowed to fulfill her since 2016.
The lady advised the police that her husband and in-laws used to abuse her verbally and bodily. She stated that she was not even allowed to step out of the home.
The lady has been despatched for medical examination and a case has been registered towards her husband and in-laws.
